Last Approach

Last Approach were formed in 2007. Bryn and Tony had broken away from their band, ETONIEM, and played with a few different groups, but nothing ever seemed to come together and feel right.

Steve had finished University and his band, Daves Court Order (pictured below) collapsed when he moved back to Anglesey and the other members disbanded; although writing his solo material was keeping him occupied, he was always looking out for another band to join.

Daves Court Order

After seeing an add in a local music store, Steff (not pictured) contacted Tony and the three met up and had a jam together.

Steve was told about a band who were looking for a bassist by his work colleague, who knew Steff. Before long, all four members met up and had a jam.

Regular practices began shortly after this, and songs were being written. Shortly after the formation of the band however, Steff informed us that he was to be moving to Cardiff.

Over the next year Last Approach had various people float in and out of the door. After several
members who didn't fit the bill, all the while continuing to write new songs while we waited for a chance to perform again, we finally found a new bassist.

James joined the band in the beginning of December 2009, completeing the lineup.

Last Approach are currently practising together to get ready for gigs they aim to play in the early parts of 2010. The band also plan to re-record their debut album, mixing the old and the new together for an album that promises to be even better.

This story is far from over ...
